Community invited to discuss Maternal and Child Health Services

West Wimmera Shire Council is inviting families and community members to attend upcoming meetings to discuss the potential transition of the Shire’s Maternal and Child Health Services.

Council is currently exploring options for the future delivery of its Maternal and Child Health services, including a potential transition to West Wimmera Health Service.

Final reminder: Dog owners urged to clean up at local ovals

West Wimmera Shire Council is issuing a final reminder to dog owners to clean up after their pets when using Council-owned ovals, following continued reports of dog droppings being left behind.
Despite earlier warnings and a trial monitoring period, the issue persists and is putting public health and community access to these spaces at risk.

New Director of Corporate and Community Services appointed

Mr Burns will commence in the role on Monday, 2 June 2025.
